Trip 6
13 April – 5 May 2019
Pietermaritzburg to Mbashe on route The Cape Agulhas
The next phase to my lighthouse hunting is just about to start again. This time Mom and I are heading straight to Mbashe on the Wild Coast to photograph that lighthouse, then with high hopes to get to Cape Agulhas. Cape Agulhas is the most southern point of South Africa and the African Continent.
Cape Agulhas is the ultimate goal and mom and I would be very excited if we get there within the 3 weeks of traveling. If not then we will turn and head home after Gourikwa Light house. There are 11 lighthouses between Mbashe and Gourikwa with one extra at Witsand and one extra at Agulhas giving me a total of 13. Hold thumbs, fingers, knees and toes that we get to Cape Agulhas.
